Founded in 2003 by Chris Townsend, CT Engineering Inc, DBA: Townsend Engineering, is a consulting firm performing predominantly civil and structural engineering for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in eastern & central Iowa, and western Illinois.

As a smaller firm with over 75 years of combined experience, Townsend Engineering is able to provide a more personal touch to projects. State of the art equipment, fresh perspectives from staff, and a team of dedicated professionals allows us to help deliver designs that realize our clients’ goals.

Townsend Engineering makes significant efforts to minimize expenses related to design and means of construction. Our project schedules and final costs are carefully monitored. Cost estimates are calculated based on our library of information reflecting current market costs and product information.
